What is Artificial Intelligence (AI) & What is ChatGPT by ChatGPT

Artificial Intelligence (AI) refers to the simulation of human intelligence in machines that are programmed to think and mimic human-like cognitive functions. The goal of artificial intelligence is to develop systems that can perform tasks that typically require human intelligence, such as problem-solving, learning, perception, speech recognition, decision-making, and language understanding.

AI can be broadly categorized into two types:

Narrow or Weak AI: This type of AI is designed and trained for a specific task. It excels in performing that particular task but lacks the broad cognitive abilities of human intelligence. Examples include virtual personal assistants like Siri or Alexa.

General or Strong AI: This type of AI would possess the ability to understand, learn, and apply intelligence across a wide range of tasks, similar to human intelligence. Achieving general AI is a complex and long-term goal that researchers and scientists are actively working towards.

ChatGPT is a language model developed by OpenAI. It belongs to the GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) family of models, specifically based on the GPT-3.5 architecture. GPT-3.5 is the third iteration of the GPT series, and it is known for its ability to understand and generate human-like text based on the input it receives.
