Invitation to Cyber Security Breakfast Briefing – 26th of April

The Cybersecurity threat is real and it doesn’t matter if you are a company with 1 person or 100 people, if your business connects to the internet to send emails, process orders, or communicate you are at risk of a cyber-attack. A recent report from Hiscox found that “Almost three quarters (71%) of Irish businesses suffered at least one cyber-attack over the last 12 months – a 22-point increase on the previous year (49%)”

Companies and organisations in the North East are invite to attend the free “Evolve – Cyber Security Awareness for SME’s ” breakfast conference, scheduled to be held on Friday 26th April 2024, from 8:00 am to 10:30 am, at the Iontas Centre in Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan.

Hosted by Digital Monaghan in association with the Local Enterprise Office Monaghan, this Cyber Security Awareness conference is aimed at small companies and organisations who want to understand the risks associated with using the Internet and learn how to protect themselves from an online attack such as ransomware, malware, invoice manipulation amongst others.

The conference will feature keynote speaker Puneet Kukreja, EY UK & Ireland Cyber Security Leader, and other leading experts in the field of cybersecurity. And will feature a number of Monaghan based companies who will provide practical advice on cyber protection. Their insights and expertise will provide attendees with invaluable guidance on understanding, identifying, and mitigating cyber risks.
