Google Local Business listings is a free tool which helps users on Google find your business online and make contact with you – through telephone clicks, website visits and the widely used directions/map facility. It’s important that you have a completed Google Listing, ensure you fill out your complete detail once you begin the setup process. You can set up your listing by going to https://www.google.com/intl/en_ie/business/ and follow the steps to completion.
If there is already a listing on Google for your business and you did not set it up, or do not have access to it, you can claim ownership of it by clicking on the “Own this Business?” option underneath and follow the steps to recover admin access.
One of the great features of the Google Local Business listing is the option for clients to review your services/products/business. As we become ever more reliant on independent reviews, Google offers this free as part of your Local Business listing. 
You can respond to the reviews favourable or otherwise and you can report any you may feel are spam or unjust.
